Napa County Resource and Development Stream Watch has two ways to get involved. Napa Resource Conservation and Development and the  Napa County Watershed Information and Conservation Council have teamed together to create Stream Watch. Volunteers make observations at select creek sites about the status of water in the creek. They also note how much trash they observe. This information will be compiled over several years to learn more about our creeks and how we can be better stewards especially with the advent of climate change.

  1. I highly recommend this as a volunteer activity! It takes very little time, it’s an easy app to use, and best of all it gets you out to places and creeks you may have never been aware of. (Other volunteers can cover you when you’re out of town). Very rewarding!
