“Lakes, rivers, and streams on the surface and aquifers below are parts of the same water system. They are intricately linked by gravity and hydraulic pressure.”

Vision: To provide a conduit for the exchange of ideas, information and recommendations on all matters relating to St. Helena water.
Mission: To provide the community and its governance with research, information and support in making responsible, sustainable water decisions.
Like the water system in Erica Gies’ quote above, we who depend on, and use St Helena water, are also intricately linked. All stakeholders need a voice in the decision making process governing the management of this vital resource: water. It is for this reason that Water Advocates St Helena supports the establishment of a Water and Wastewater Commission to act in an advisory capacity to the St Helena City Council.
